Did You Know?
Canadian Health Survey on Children and Youth (CHSCY) shows the prevalence and specific difficulties experienced by parents of children with autism (Canada). According to the survey, 1 in 50 Canadian children and youth aged 1 to 17 years were diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) (Canada). Many parents often find themselves uncertain about how to understand their children because of the lack of conversation about autism within communities.
